While we personally love to teach this content, our true desire is to empower local pastors in their setting. We want to serve as guides for how to preach the ancient words of the Scriptures to a modern audience. This 12-month cohort will involve monthly all-day workshops, feedback, and coaching. Participants can also expect to receive personal feedback and coaching on their upcoming sermons.

One of the first things Abraham did when he entered the Holy Land was to plant a Tamarisk tree. In the heat of the desert of Israel, the shade of a Tamarisk Tree can mean the difference between life and death. The interesting thing about a Tamarisk tree is that it takes three generations to grow. You don’t plant this tree for yourself, you plant it for those who will come after you. By planting a Tamarisk Tree, Abraham was saying, “God, I trust you with the future.”

It is our commitment to you that every gift received will be used to support:
BIBLICAL TOUR SCHOLARSHIPS: A scholarship fund to help bring people to Israel (with an emphasis on young ministry leaders). On average, a Biblical Studies Tour costs approximately $6,000. For most pastors, the cost of travel makes a Biblical Study Tour unatainable. It was someone’s investment in both of us years ago that sparked the fire which has become our life’s passion. To be candid, we would not be doing what we’re doing without that investment.
CREATING DISCIPLES: Creating resources and opportunities to bring the lessons of the land of Israel home.
EMPOWERING THE LOCAL CHURCH: Empowering the local church through the work of consulting, teaching, and experiences.
EQUIPPING PASTORS: It is one of our core beliefs that there is no excuse for a boring sermon. The Scriptures are interesting, relevant, and transformational. Unfortunately, many pastors were simply not given the necessary tools or coaching and are feeling the weight of each coming Sunday.
